    Description

    This #3 size long spring trap is a very early Victor made in the Oneida Community's Kenwood NY factory in the 1890s. It has a solid pan with three patent dates from the late 1880s and early 1890s and has Kenwood NY stamped around the lower part of the pan. The upper part of the pan is strongly marked VICTOR and No, 3 while the patent dates and Kenwood NY on the bottom half are visible but weak.   The trap is complete with strong springs and complete chain and ring and has a very nice dark smooth patina.   This is a good example of a 130 year old trap. This trap conforms to ebays policy of jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches.
